The following tables show the voestalpine Metsec Framing standard section ranges for Metframe.These consist of the following section profiles listed below:
100MF14/70 = MF Denotes voestalpine Metsec Framing Section, 100mm web depth, 70mm flange, 1.4mm materialthickness. Lipped C-Section.
100MF12/67U = MF Denotes voestalpine Metsec Framing Section, 100mm web depth, 67mm flange, 1.2mm materialthickness ‘U’ denotes Un-Lipped C-Section.
104MF14 = Non-lipped channel section of 104mm depth, 1.4mm material thickness.
MF-163Z30/1 = Z denotes ‘Zed’ section, 163mm overall depth, 3.0mm material thickness.
MF-163F30 = F denotes ‘Asymmetric Shutter’ with a 163mm overall depth, 3.0mm material thickness.
All holes in studs and tracks are typically 14mm Diameter plain holes in web, and 14mm Diameter countersunk or plain holes inflanges. Refer to section range for hole types.
Where necessary the voestalpine Metsec Framing range of sections can be used in conjunction with other ranges produced in thevoestalpine Metsec Building Products division. (i.e SFS & Purlins)
All structural components are formed from pre-hot dipped galvanised steel with a Z275 coating, minimum yield strength = 450N/mm².Note, 45x45x2 and bracing straps have a minimum yield strength of 350N/mm².
All other components shown in our details but not listed in our range are not supplied by voestalpine Metsec.

Used as studs in internal/external wall panels and joists in floor/roof panels.
Used as tracks on top and bottom of wall panels and ends of floor/roof panels.
Used as slab closure members to prevent concrete spillage.
Used at wall panel heads to support slabs or floor/roof panels.
Used as slab support typically at parapets, and closure members to prevent concrete spillage.
Straps: A range of straps are available to use as bracing members when screw fixed to face of wall panels.
Angles: Used for non-slab side of gable panel heads and temporary roof support members.
