Butt Side Rail System

For Buildings with Single Bays or More.

The butt side rail system offers a simple cleat connection and is intended for smaller buildings, short or uneven spans, or light loading conditions.

This system can cater for single bays and can therefore be used in conjunction with other voestalpine Metsec systems or as a system in its own right.

The butt system caters for spans up to 15m depending on the load to be applied and where the cladding or liner tray offers adequate lateral support by virtue of its fixing: ie fixed according to the cladding manufacturer’s instructions.

Computer controlled production techniques apply the client’s individual mark numbers to all rails automatically during the manufacturing process.

Unless otherwise stated, all required holes are 18mm diameter for M16 bolts and are normally pierced in pairs on standard gauge lines.
