Metframe

Metframe is voestalpine Metsec’s modern, factory fabricated, pre-panelised framing solution.

Manufactured off-site in a controlled, dry, high precision factory environment, Metframe panels and components offer a level of tolerance, efficiency, speed of supply and accelerated build time that simply can’t be matched using traditional on-site techniques.

As a result, Metframe panels have been embraced globally by the construction sector and can be found in numerous built environments including residential developments, student accommodation, hotels and care homes.

Metframe: load bearing structures for low to medium rise construction.

Using heavy gauge studs similar to load bearing SFS, Metframe panels are bolted together in a factory environment to form panels capable of creating structures up to 15 storeys high. Metframe structures can incorporate either steel joisted or concrete floors as required.

Flexible, fast to build, highly cost-effective

The Metframe system accommodates pitched, dormer or flat roofs and design features such as balconies, cantilevers and insets. Compared against the cost of timber and volumetric construction, Metframe is an extremely competitive building solution, providing an accelerated build speed of under two weeks per floor for construction. With zero waste and a low carbon footprint, Metframe buildings are at the fore of sustainable construction.
